Well this past weekend was a busy one for iCOG Studios. We attended Global Game Jam 2011 in Calgary! We had 48 hours to produce a game. For the platform we of course chose the iPhone and for the game we decided on Endangered Zpecies. The game allows you to take the side of the zombies who are dying because of a lack of brains. The game is a tug of war in which the as the zombies you try and survive wave after wave of humans trying to destroy your gravestone. Each side has 3 unit types(light, medium, and heavy) all being portrayed by various different characters. Currently the game is for iPhone only but we have plans to bring it to both the iPad and the mac in the near future.

Well we had a neat idea a couple weeks ago about a neat little reminder application. So we decided to build it! Well the application was just released yesterday and it’s called EzReminder. EzReminder isn’t just any other reminder application. With EzReminder you don’t have to type in your reminder! You can choose from one of the pre-set reminders or add your own! This allows you to enter a reminder extremely quickly(sometimes in as little as 10 seconds!).
